Whether modern technology is creating a single world culture is a popular topic undergoing heated debated over a long period

Whether modern technology is creating a single world culture is a popular topic undergoing heated debated over a long period of time. Some people uphold it while others have a negative attitude. As far as I am concerned, I disagree with the idea that a single culture is forming after pondering this argument from several aspects. There are numerous reasons why I hold such confidence about it and I shall here explore only a few of the most important ones.

One chief reason is that culture is that different countries have different cultures. Although people from different countries communicate frequently, it is not mean they hold a single culture. I can think of no better illustration than the fact that Chinese also have their own culture although China is one of the countries which benefit best from modern technology. According to open and reform policy, China communicate with the world more and more closely, but Chinese people still hold their specific culture instead of creating a single with other countries.

The above is only part of the important aspects, another one with equal significance can be seen by everybody that the wars between different cultures are often break up in many areas. If one world culture is creating, people from different countries will share common belief, common life style and there is no wars, however, countries are still often involved in wars especially the closet two neighbors which are most likely form single culture with the development of modern technology.

In addition, a further reason why I disagree with this opinion is the fact that modern technology is not elixir. It can change people life style such as communication, but it cannot change a nations belief, that is to say, culture.

In a word, from what has been discussed above, we may safely arrive at the conclusion that culture cannot be changed by modern technology, not to say it can create a single world cluture.
