What is the most important factor in choosing a career, financial gain, enjoyment or personal prospect? As the author suggests

What is the most important factor in choosing a career, financial gain, enjoyment or personal prospect? As the author suggests here, some people will select the financial gain. I do not agree with the author for the following reasons.

First of all, when you choose a career, you should consider whether you have interest in it. Studies show that when a person works for a sense of enjoyment, he/she gets the great achievement more easily. If we only concerned the financial gain and ignored our interest, we will become the subservient to money.

Second, personal prospect, especially for young men, is also important. As a matter of fact, choosing a career often involves a conflict between the personal prospect and the financial gain. We should choose career in which we can make the most use of our talent. Numerous people care so much for the short-term financial gain that they fail to look beyond it. Such negative instance can be found everywhere.

However, some else will say, we live in a materialistic society and success is measured in terms of the money you earn. This idea has seriously influenced our decisions. It is true that financial gain is a factor that we have to take into account. But I believe that it is definitely not the most important one. Pursuing money is not the goal which belongs to the ambitious men.

In conclusion, I do not agree that the financial gain is the most important factor. On the contrary, I hold that personal prospect and enjoyment are the more important than financial gain.
