There are two types of books or novels in the world. One is about real things and the other is about unreal things. However, I think it is OK to read not only books about real things but also ones about unreal things. There are some reasons to support my opinion. First of all, since I believe that fiction stories are more interesting than non-fiction stories, people should be allowed to read latter ones. Fiction stories deal with events that do not happen in the real world so writers can make unusual stories, which stimulate my curiosity. I am going to mention science fiction novels. These kinds of stories are about the future or the universe. Because no one really knows well about them, writers can make their own worlds in the novels, which I am keen about. Second, reading fiction stories cultivates our imagination. If we read only books about establish facts, we cannot be creative. For example, although I love non-fiction novels, I often read fiction novels. By reading this kind of stories, I am major in art at college. I assumed that reading fiction novels have little to do with creating art works before. However, since I began to read books about imaginative stories two years ago, I come up with a number of nice ideas that can apply to my art works. In conclusion, I recommend that people should read unestablished facts in addition to stories about real events to be more creative and feel fun.
