The method of study of every individual is different from one another. It depends on the subject to be studied, the personality of the individual, etc. Although there are so many aspects affect study method, I prefer, in genera, to study with a group of students because there are many advantages to study in group compared to study individually.
First of all, studying with a group of students, we can help each other. The effect of this sometimes can be surprising. In studying computer programming, for example, I encountered several times such a case that I just could not get through with my program at a certain point. By asking for help, I get it all lf sudden, which otherwise might take me days even weeks to tackle with it. Sit saved me much time. Practicing spoken English is another situation in which one needs a companion or companions to do so. Although one can read some text to practice, the effect is usually not as good as practicing dialog with some one else.
The second ad vantage of studying in group is that they can encourage each other, deliberately or not. The grouping study itself forms naturally the atmosphere of studying in which every individual usually feels obliged to study instead of doing anything else, and thus he/she can concentrate easily. Otherwise, he/she may be subject to lapse in attention from his/her study.
To sum up, we can see that it is better to study with a group of students than study alone. The former brings us many more advantages than the latter.
