The author asserts that government should support all forms of arts and it should not place any restrictions on the art that is produced. I agree with the author insofar that art has no boundaries and should not be restricted. However in my view, some guidance, review by the government should be done for some forms of arts like movies, paintings, music etc.

Art is GODs gift. You cant acquire an art skill. Either you have the art skill or you do not have it. Yes, the skills can be enhanced by practise and perseverence but since only select few people have these skills, all forms of arts needs to be properly nourished and cared. All monetary, resourse support needs to be given for the same. Government with all the arts organisations like Indian Arts school should be responsible to support the same.

Government is for people, by people and to people, it has to take care of sentiments of all people of all race and religion. Movies, Music which can hurt a particular religion or race has to be properly reviewed by the government. Only the storylines which does not hurt the sentiments should be sponsored by the government hence some kind of review mechanism by the government has to be in place.

Some people might say that art has no restrictions, it has no boundaries. I agree on it. Art forms like dance, architecture monuments, painitings needs be encouraged and no restrictions are required on the art that is produced. But yes it does require some form of review by the government just to see that it does not go too overboard and hurt some group in the country. You do not need another riots in the country just because a painter depicted an indian goddess in a nude form!

In sum, I agree with the author that art should be completly supported by the government and there should be no restrictions for the same. But since to avoid any unwanted law and order incident, there should be review mechanism by the government just to check whether it hurts the sentiments of people.
