Should students work while they are still students? Some people claim that they should not, while others argue that they should. As far as I am concerned, I strongly believe that students should not have jobs while they are still students.
First and foremost, all the students have a right to concentrate on studying, but having jobs often disturbs students' studying. For example, when I was a freshman, I had a part-time job and worked more than 30 hours per week. At that time, I could not study at all, and consequently failed a couple of classes. I understood that part-time job was having harmful role for my college life, and quit it. I have seen many people who made a same mistake as me. As the above example illustrates, I strongly believe that having jobs is harmful for students.
Secondly, it is risky for students to have too much money when they are teenagers. One of my friends who was having a job when he was a high school student was addicted to gambling. This example clearly shows the risk of earning too much money for teenagers. Since teenagers are usually not enough rational to use money correctly, it is dangerous to have much money by having jobs.
In conclusion, I am convinced, for the reasons mentioned above, that students should not have jobs while they are still students.
