Some people think that learning about the past has no value for those of us living in the present, but I disagree with this opinion. I like to study the histories of the world and the experiments of our ancestors. All of them can help me to forecast my future.
First, every country should study its history. It is especially important to politicians, because they need to make a lot of addresses for their campaign. If they deeply know their history, they can make presentations more interesting. Today every country wants to keep its traditional culture, because it can attract more visitors and scholars to visit this country.
Second, people can study many experiments from the past. Students should study the basic knowledge at school more than twelve years. All of this basic knowledge came from our ancestors researching. If we are scholars, we need to study some things from our failures. We should avoid the same mistake to happen again. Sometimes we do not need do some things, because we can study some experiments from our friends and parents. For example, we know what kind of fruit and plants we can eat or not. We do not need to try every plants and fruit, because we already learn all of this information from our parents.
Finally, we can image our future from studying the past. When we are young, we can try to take several careers. Maybe we failed to do some kind of careers. Then we can know which we are good at or not. Thus we can work on this career which we are good at in our lives. It is easier for us to succeed in this career.
