There are probably a lot of people who support the statement, "It is better to enjoy your money when you earn it than to save your money for some time in the future." However, I cast doubt on the idea that we spend money in traveling somewhere or purchasing products. I believe that we should save our money for some time in the future. I will present a couple of reasons that help to understand my thought.
First, and foremost, if you are parents and have kids, you should save your money for children's education. These days, the price of education is very high. You cannot give your children high-quality education unless you have much money. My experience illustrates this. When I was a high school student, I needed to decide which university or college to go while taking into consideration my grades. To be honest, my grades were not great since I spent most of the time in playing baseball with my teammates. I had no choice but to be enrolled in a private university, of which tuition is a ten thousand dollar per year. I asked my father and mother if they could pay high tuition. They told me that I did not have to worry about the money since they had saved their money for my future education. Thanks to the money they accumulated, I got into the private university and had a great time in the campus.
Second, you are forced to pay your money when one of your family members suffer from diseases. It seems that your parents look good. But how about your grandparents? They are more likely to get sick than your parents. In the case where a family member suffers from diseases, the money you save is very useful and help his or her life. For example, although my grandfather always walks for thirty minutes in the morning and seemed to stay in good shape, he had cancer two years ago. When our family noticed the news, we got depressed and shocked because it was possible that he would die. To treat the disease, we had to pay much for his medical care such as medicine, good doctor, and bed in the hospital. Due to careful treatment, he recovered completely.
In conclusion, I acknowledge the view that it is more worth saving money than paying for having a good time. I understand many people who may disagree with my viewpoint. But considering the reasons I stated above in the paragraph, it is reasonable to conclude that.
