Some people feel that progress is always good. I share the common view with them. There are a lot of examples that support my idea around us and I would explore a few of the most important ones in the following paragraphs.
The main reason for my propensity is that progress means improving, and improving is always good. If one feels that he/she improves himself/herself, he/she moves a step near his/her object. No matter how big the step is, this step shorts the road leading to the end. This shows that he/she does not move backward, but forward. He/she is close to the aim they set for themselves. So, the progress is good.
What is also worth noticing fact is that progress encourages one to make another progress. Take me for example. I still remember the time when I study English. In the beginning, I do not get the way of learning English, so I find it too difficult for me. I often got 3 in my English tests. But after I set up mind to learn English well, I studied day and night to improve my English skills. My grades went up to 4, and then 5. I found energy from my progress and studied even harder. As last, I became one of the best students in learning English in my class. I think my experience shows that progress is always good.
Furthermore, as we all know, progress accumulates to success in the end. No progress, no success. Every one of us wants to be successful. So progress is always good and necessary.
In a word, progress shows improving, encourages people to do better and make up the success of the person. Taking into account of all factors mentioned above, we may reach the conclusion that progress is always good.
