sense of humor
Some people think that the most important of all human qualities is a sense of humor. Personally, I don’t agree with this statement.
For one reason, I think a sense of humor is not always good. Normally, when you make a story and make others laugh, you make fun of someone or something. Maybe you’ll hurt someone with or without intentions. For example, some people have weak points like being overweight, too short or having some disability. If you use your sense of humor to make fun of them, maybe they will feel sad. And not everything can be considered funny. In some situation, a sense of humor is considered rude and impersonal, for example when a friend loses his job, a neighbor dies or a relative gets an accident.
For another reason, a sense of humor can not help you overcome difficulties in life. A sense of humor is only good in normal situations, not in special ones, but only in adversity your qualities can be shown best. For example, you come to the forest and meet a tiger. At that time, you can do nothing with a sense of humor there. What you need is bravery, quickness and strength.
In summary, a sense of humor maybe good for you in some situation, but it’s not the most important of all human qualities.
