I prefer living in the place where the weather changes during a year. I feel this way for the 2 main reasons, which will be explained in the following essay.
The first reason I am fond of living in areas with several seasons is that we can enjoy various sceneries depending on different weathers. Let me take Japan as an example. Japan has 4 seasons, which are spring, summer, fall, and winter. In spring, we have various kinds of colorful flowers like Ume, Sakura, and momo. Then, in summer, beautiful green leave can be seen. The following season is fall, the green leave turn red or yellow and their colorful view amuses us a lot. At last, we can have fun watching gorgeous snowy scenery during winter.
Secondly, I have lots of memories linked to changing weathers since I have grown up in Japan. For instance, Japanese school year ends and starts in spring. During the season, cherry blossoms fully bloom just as it celebrates students. As a result, spring weather is associated with that fresh, warm feeling for me. Not only spring but all the seasons have memories of its own and nostalgic feeling linked to them. For that, I missed the weather in Japan very much when I lived in Singapore, where it is hot and humid around a year. At the same time, I was missing all the good memories related to my childhood, family, and friends.
In conclusion, I love a life in places that have changing weathers. This is because I appreciate various sceneries and I have memories associated with each season.Read more
