I live in Japan, where there are four distinctive seasons. In summer it gets so hot and humid that we don’t want to go out, and one might expect it to get freezing in winter, again preventing you from going out. It would be a dream-like experience to live in a place where there is only one season, especially a place with a tropical climate. We just need one kind of clothing, no worries about catching a cold when the season is about to change. However, I prefer to live in areas where we can experience several climate changes in a year, having admitted that it might be a tougher choice.

Sometimes, it is hotly debated whether teachers should or can express their own political views in front of their students. Some parents and teachers themselves worry they end up influencing the students too much. However, I do believe it is acceptable for teachers to show their political views to their students unless they impose their views on students and force them to follow the teacher's individual outlook.

I definitely agree that modern life is easier than life in the past. The increased use of technology, rising standards of living, and improved healthcare have combined to make our lifestyles, at least in the first world, luxurious compared to lifestyles of the past. By examining three specific examples—personal computers, The Lion in Winter, and vaccines—this essay will demonstrate that this improvement has, indeed, taken place.
