Technology affects the late twentieth century a lot. When a name "WWW" comes to our lives, we can find a significant change. For example, we can only use our pc to type documents or play mine sweeper alone. After the Internet comes, computers can communicate each other. We can use Internet to connect with our friends through e-mail or MSN, furthermore, we can know the foreign country's news immediately. As a result, there are many changes through the Internet. Conspicuously, the author of the announcement commits some serious flaws that first; he incorrectly associates the decline of The Mercury's circulation with the newly published newspaper, The Bugle, which has a competing lower price. In addition, the statistics offered does not provide what the population is and that faultily makes a generalization drawn from a group that does not represent the whole. What's more, there is insufficient evidence to support that there will be more people willing to buy The Mercury on account of the reduction in its price which is going to be lower than that of The Bugle. Even if the circulation of The Mercury does increase, we still cannot infer or prove that The Mercury will draw more businesses' attention to buy advertising spaces in the paper.

Does homogeneity really benefits corporations? April 17th, 2008

With the rapid growing of multinational corporations, it is conspicuous that products tend to be produced in highly homogeneity. While certain degrees of people may begin wanting the same products and services that regional differences are rapidly disappearing, I am convinced to some extent that this believe doesn't hold true because virtually people are inclined to develop the diversity of personal traits that can be distinguished from others to show their uniqueness. Accordingly, I think there is a fallacy exists in the above statement.
