Some people state that nowadays the development of mass media has concealed intellectual curiosity. However, others believe that individuals has benefited from mass media because people can access to a lot of information which can facilitate them to expand their intellect and creativity. I agree with the first statement that the development of mass media has concealed intellectual curiosity.
First of all, in people’s daily life there is so much information that can confuse people. Unfortunately, some of them are also useless. For example, nowadays there are a lot of reports about some movie or music stars on the press and TV, such as some scandals and gossips even rumors.
