I love reading and I formed the hobby since I was a kid, which I think contributes to my preference on visualized materials when it comes to learning. I find myself depend more on textbooks or handouts acquiring new knowledge rather than physically doing practices. I highlight the important contents and jot down notes, which helps me to understand or memorize things better. Afterward, I think it through to make sure that I remember all the essentials. If I leave out something, I retrieve the material and study again. By doing so, I learn new things better and quicker, and I can always go back to the texts or the books once I forget them.

Also, I am under loads of pressure learning these way because it is less likely for me to get a chance to practice or listen to a lecture as many time as I feel like if I miss something. As a result, reading is my preferable way of learning.Read more
