It is wildly said that Children are the future of the world. No matter in a developed country or in a developing country, the goverments are very concerned with the issues of children. This phenomenon, in some sense, account for the fact that a person`s childhood years (from birth to twelve years of age) are the most important years of a person`s life. I totally agree with the statements for a number of reasons.

First of all,Childhood years play an important role in shaping a child`s growing personality. The environment in which the child grows is crucial for him. For example, a child grows in a family where the parents are better educated and have a good relationship, then the child live in a calm and nature atmosphere. The child may be nice to other people and have great curiosity for the knowledge. When he grows up, he may be an easy-going person and have a good control of himself.

Secondly, the interests which are fostered in childhood may be lead to success in his future career. When children are young, they are easily influenced by the people or things around them. If in this period he has chances to get into something in particular field, he may be pursue this interest as his future career and make great achievements. For example, many famous people who succeed in future usually attributed part of his success to the effect which they got from childhood experences.

Thirdly, children have the great curiosity for the world, because they are newcomer. So they are likely to be affected. If the influence is good ,then he may have more chance to be good in future. However, if he is in an air of negative circumstances, it is no doubt that he maybe getting bad later. So we cannot underestimated the influence of the childhood imposed on the children.

From above, I want to emphasize the importance of the childhood to a person. This is a key time for a person to shape a good personality ,and to plant a seed of future career. All this is related to a person`s success in future.
