Rules are necessary to maintain the peace and well operating of ore our society by regulating and limiting people's bad behavior, which is an undoubtable truth. However, if there are too many rules to constrain people, without of a consideration about the true meaning of rules, rules will become a burden for people. Especially the youngster in our generation, they are facing too many social rules at school and at work.
Admittedly, young people are very free. They can take their time to have fun and do whatever they like. Such as leaving comments freely on twitter or face book and posting different selfies in their blogs. However, this kind of freedom is only limited in virtual society. In real society, they are not as free as they are on the Internet because of too many authentic rules.
At school, young people like students are facing too many rules, especially the rules constrain their expression personality. The regulation of dressing the same or specific types of clothing, for example, is a typical case of rules. Students have to wear uniforms at school to indicate their identification of students. However, the limitation of clothing, an expression of personal interest, truly deprive of the chance of expressing their mood and feeling by wearing different kinds of cloths. When people see a bunch of students are wearing the same, except so-called neat, what they can feel is only boring and tedious, which is not positive for youngster's growth.
At work, young people are facing too many rules, which makes them feel stressful and under burden. Too many rules at work means employees have to do things very carefully to avoid regulating rules. So they are afraid of making big choices and finishing works in an easy and fast way. For example, in a big company, if there are many rules to young people such as no dating in office, on eating at work time or no chatting in company, when a young male people deals with some tasks by communicating with another female co-works, he will have to take this seriously, in case someone else misunderstand their relation as office romance. Thus, the work efficiency will be super low because of too many unnecessary considerations. Plus, he will feel under pressure and very stressful as well, which is unhealthy for his career or health.
In a word, young people do face too many rules from society. They have to deal with different kinds of rules, not only at school, but at work as well, which form a kind of limitation and constraint for their life.
