Current or future social problems Score: 4 October 18th, 2016 by Arri24

It is a divisive issue to spend more on emergency social problems or long time investigation that might be helpful for future. I am personally of the opinion that, although it is important to spend on existing social problems, the possibility of future problems is more important and should be noticed.

To begin with, current social problems may be reduced by spending on them but there is not a solution. In other words, almost all of the social problems refer to individuals who are resistance to change in adulthood. As a prime example, if people do not learn to respect to laws in childhood, there will be impossible to be a good citizen in society. So spend money on them is not a guarantee to avoid further problems.

In addition, by studying on the community and roots of social problems, it can be seen that it would cost less to manage some social problems at the beginning. That is to say, children are more able to be trained and flexible to learn basic treatments which are necessary in the social movement. The result of researches can be a reliable source of information to be used for training children.

Finally, there is a common believe that, prevention is better than cure. Researches can show us the possible problems and how to handle them. Also they can be used to find some solutions based on their results and suggestions. Sociologists could provide a wide range of information for government and parents to make good rules and training method respectively.

In conclusion, I strongly agree with spend on long-term researches and believe that it is a good way to train more responsible people and avoid some social problems in the future.
