Firstly, I think businesses should not hire employees for their entire lives because it has several side effects. The average life time of a person nowadays is about sixty to seventy years. In gereral, when people getting older they will not fit as they are in younger ages. Their metal and physical capabilities decline with the increasing age. For example,I am living in an apartment. One day I want call the maintainer to fix a lamp in my living room. So they send a old man around sixty years old. He try to fixed the lamp for an two hours. Because his eye sight is not good enough to see the small holes in the ceiling. Then the chief maintainer come to see why this man is late. Then he fixed the lamp within 15 minutes. This implies if you employ people after age period the business has a danger of decrease in productivity and functioning of the business.
Secondly, I think businesses should not hire employees for their entire lives because then there is no opportunity to younger generation. If employees do their job for a some period, then we can give opportunities to fresh talented and young people. Business is an activity which is dynamic. It changes with time. If all people work their entire lives there are no vacancies to youngsters. If the business keep their old staff and take more new emplyees then there will be an excess of employees. This will leads excess cost to maintain them. The people served many years have a good experience. So they can employ as supervisors to younger people.
In conclusion, I will say the elderly employees must be provided with some amount of money to support them when they quiting from the jobs. I insist that the businesses should not hire employees for entire lives because of the decraese in production and to give opportunties for younger people.
