For what should the governments use money? This is a controversial issue and there are a lot of attitudes toward it. Some people claim they should spend as much money as possible on computer technology, while others argue that they should use as much money as possible on more basic needs. If asked both gropes would present compelling arguments to corroborate their assertions. I think the answer depends on personal experiences, personality type, and emotional concerns, but as far as I am concerned, I definitely believe that the money should be used on more basic needs for the following reasons.
First of all, there are a lot of people all around the world who need financial supports because of their diseases. For example, a large number of people are born with congenital diseases such as Dawn's disease and suffering from infections especially in the developing countries. They need a lot of drugs and cure for their disorders, which cost much money and often cannot get them because of lack of money. As the above example illustrates, I suppose that there are a lot of people all around the world who need financial supports because of their diseases.
Second, those who don't have their work need more money than those who have their work. For instance, it is necessary for them to have chances to improve the probability of employment, such as training or education, which cost them much money, too. To give my individual instance, I am a medical student and need a large deal of money for the tuition. I am not employed now, so I have to borrow some scholarships. This example clearly shows that those who don't have their occupations need more money than those who have their jobs.
Therefore, I am convinced of, for these reasons mentioned above, that the government should use more money on basic needs than computer technology. Firstly, there are a lot of people all around the world who need financial supports because of their diseases. Secondly, those who don't have their work need more money than those who have their work.
