High profile awards such as Nobel Prize is what almost every scientist aspire to get.Not only because its high profile awards but its honor,which is an acknowledge for the winner`s achievement.Actually,Now some person think high profile awards such as the Nobel Prize are damaging to society because they reinforce an unhealthy desire for recognition.I don`t want to entirely disagree it but it seems too exparte and absolute.

Yes,i have to admit there`r some person who have some unhealthy desire for recogniton.But we have to acknowledge that most of the scientists are hardworking and have genius.High profile awards are not the single course that stimulate them to work so hard.There are many others reasons,such as resolving existing problem,helping people,discovering unknown fields,etc.We cannot deny that science has greatly propelled our society`s development.For example,Relative Theory has helped people realize the long-term dream of exploring the universe and make it possible for people to leave on others planets.Nobel Prize or others prizes are just praise those scientists who got great achievement and helped people solve many problems.

In sum,we cannot deny Nobel Prize`s positive function that urge scientists working hard and accelerate society`s progress.Since there`r actually someone who has unhealthy desire for recognition so as to do some despicable deed.But such person are seldom and most scientists are honesty.High profile awards such as Nobel Prize are actually improve our society because they urge scientists and they are an honor and recognition to their brilliant archievements.
