From a child to an adult a person will receive numerous advices from his parents and friends who are all important in his life. As a result of psychological research, a young adult is more willing to stand with his friends other than his parents. According to my experience, I wound like agree with the above statement.
First, adolescents, undergoing puberty but not having reached full mental in their childhood. More accurately speaking, by this means to represent their distinction and maturity. Home naturally became their safest lab. For example, some of them leave home and look for a friend to gain support after arguing against their parents, and by keeping their family anxiously foraging them all over the world, they consider that they success eventually. In this sense, therefore, parents’ opinions always are denied by a young adult.
Another obvious reason why friends are the most important influence on young adults is that they are at the same age, sharing similar experiences, and possessing common interests. They usually feel a strong sense of recognition when get a consent on a certain topic. When they are confused, bewildered and hesitating, understandably, the attitudes of friends do more effects than that of their family.
Ironically, to us, the more aged, the more acceptable of our parents’ advice as we are more and more mature. When we recollect the ludicrous past with our parents, we usually embarrassedly acknowledge we are young at that time.
