Some people may say that watching events on TV is more enjoyable than participating in the same events, because they can watch them calmly. However, in my opinion, I definitely agree with the idea that joining in live events is more fun than watching the same events on TV.
First of all, we will able to many people who share the same feelings in the live events. When I was an elementary school student, I went to watch a soccer game with my friend. Our tickets were the back of goal of home team which we loved. In Japan where I live, the enthusiastic people who loved a certain team take the tickets of back of the goal. Therefore, we were surrounded by these people. They sung and shouted to encourage their team. I also joined in them. Although, I was not able to concentrate on the game, it was really nice time. As this example clearly shows, participating events lively provide us with valuable times which we will not be able to gain on TV.
Second, joining events in live allows us to watch what I am not able to watch on TV. For instance, when I was a senior at Meiji University in Toyo, I went to watch a TV program at a studio. Many celebrities appeared in the TV program. One of the them was a professor of my university. The content of the TV program is to explain and discuss the problem of a city. My professor and celebrities discuss a problem concretely and enthusiastically. I was able to learn plenty of facts and thinking thorough the TV program. However, a couple of days later, when I watched the TV show on TV, I realized that most parts of the discussion were edited and cut off. If I had not participated it in live, I could have not learned so much knowledge. This experience illustrated that joining in events lively give us opportunities to watch what we are not able to watch on TV.
Actually, it is reasonable that t we can watch events calmly if we watch them on TV. However, sharing the time with so much people and knowing what we are not able to watch on TV are the experiences that we are not able to exchange with anything.
In conclusion, I agree with the idea that it is more enjoyable to participation events than watching them on TV because it gives us the valuable experiences.
