Nowadays, the lifestyle, as in commonly sensed, has been affected by galloping rate of technology arrival offering more convenient life in an excellent fashion. Telephones and emails are the results of technology development, which have improved communication among individuals. Despite of the fact that most of the people consider communicational technology as the one of the best human being achievement, I personally subscribe to the view that telephone and email have made contacts between people less personal for several reasons, three substantial of which elaborate upon hereunder.
To begin with, in today’s modern world, individuals are forced to employ new ways of communication such as telephone and email, which are less personal, in order to communicate with their families or friends due to the fact that everybody has to be in rush so as to not be left behind in contending for the “field of competition” , and they have mostly focused only on working more and more, chasing their aims, and money making which make them forget communicating face-to-face which is considered as one the major social needs of general public. Therefore, to save time, they prefer to send an email or make a phone call rather than visiting them face-to face.
Another reason why I advocate the attitude that telephone and email have made communication between people less personal lies in the fact that impersonal communication methods gradually place one into isolation. As a point in view, my brother are dissociable; in other word, it is difficult for him to make and hold a face-to-face conversation with others; however, he can freely make relationship with people in the Cyberspace as he enjoys many follower.
To put it in a nutshell, having considering all of the aforementioned ingredients discussed above, it seems to me that applying telephone and email as a way to communicate with people is less personal, apart from several merits that they.
