Company’s success through its employees
There is no doubt in saying that the employees of a company help the company reach glorious heights. It is essential for a company to have efficient workers that get the job done. And it is equally important that the employees remain sincere throughout their work. According to the author, the success of a company is totally dependent on the employee’s job security and his job satisfaction. The issue provided is itself self-explanatory.
In today’s world it is hard to find an individual who could work without caring about his reward. Similarly, in the corporate milieu where everyone wants to make the most money will naturally be demanding when it comes to their job profile. Although they want the company to rise in the international market, but they also want their job to be secure and satisfactory. The companies often follow the policy of hire and fire. Once they are done with a particular project, they may fire the project team the next morning. So this job security is perhaps one of the most important things for an employee.
In addition to a secure job, the author also mentions the job satisfaction of an employee. If the employee does not feel that he’s being paid as much as he is working, this may lead to job satisfaction issues. If this happens, this may affect his sincerity and efficiency in his work; which ultimately may hamper the company’s productivity. But you are only rewarded once you show your competence in the highly competitive world. Therefore, the job satisfaction is in a way, in your own hands.
However, exceptions always exist. There are certain employees who devote all their resources to a company. All they do is work hard for the company, no matter what the company provides them. They are the actual heroes behind the making and rising of the company. And they simply can’t be ignored. So in one way or the other, they are highly revered in the company by the other employees.
Here, the author’s statement deviates a little and proves that exceptions do exist. But the actual work at the ground level is done by the junior employees. Without them, the company shall cease.
To sum up, it is clear that for a company to be successful, the employee’s job satisfaction and job security has to given importance. In order to make the company soar great heights, they must all work together as a team. But at the same time, there are some people whose only focus is the company and all they desire is it its success.
