There has been a drastic development in technology over the past few decades. Going with this rate of development, it can be predicted that human mind will never be superior to machines. Machines are indeed a creation of human mind but they can easily overcome the limitations of human mind.
Human beings have many limitations and so does our mind, we are unable to do very rigorous calculations in our mind in split seconds. To overcome this limitation we invented a simple machine called calculator. If we compare human mind with a calculator in terms of time taken to solve a myriad multiplication, the calculator is clearly superior to human mind.
In a television series " Person of Interest", the role of an A.I. has been highlighted. The A.I. though being a tool of human mind superceeds the prescience of the human mind and is able to predict the various possible outcomes with respective probabilities based on the events occurred. Such great level of intelligence is clearly a limitation in a human mind.
Many scientists argue that full potential of a human brain is still undiscovered, but same is the case with machines looking at the rate of development in technology. The human mind is much more complex than a machine which at the root level is comprised of logic gates. Hence keeping the options of the human mind is superior to machines still debatable.
The human mind has many limitations which hinder their superiority to machines in specific fields like calculating. There is a lot yet to be discovered about the scope of human mind and also machines, but looking at the trend of development in machines, it's safe to conclude that machines will always be superior to human mind.
