Recently in modern society, people’s sense of values have been more diverse, and they have various opinions as to the role of education. Some people might think that children should take lessens from their early age. Others would argue that they should spend more time in playing while they are young. If asked, both groups would present compelling arguments to corroborate their assertions. However, I personally ponder that children should start their official education from their early stage of the formation.
Of course, there is accepted advantage of playing with friends in their childhood. On specific explanation is that the children can aquire social skills in the playing. Another point is that free activities may enhance the creativity of children. However, schools can offer these opportunities so that I find more advantages to begin the school education at a very early point. For one thing, learning abilities at the early childhood is beyond other formative stages. Moreover, communication skills gained in education is more sophisticated than those in playing with friends.
In the first place, it is more efficient for children to learn new things in their early ages than in later ages. Early children are the best learners through the life so that taking the formal and correct education in this period will have advantage. The most prominent benefit is that they can ingrain the knowledge and skills much faster than other ages. For example, it is the proven fact that children aged under 6 are more suitable to learn languages so it is recommendable for them to touch various languages if the parents want them to enable to speak several kinds.
Beyond that, the communication skills taught in school is more beneficial for children. This is because the styles of communication in school and in playing are absolutely different from each other. When children play with their friends, it is not necessary to communicate with the person who do not like but in school, they are required to consort with the unconfortable friends. This situation often happens in our society. Therefore, if joining school from the early stage of their life, children can start learning the skills for the difficult communication in advance.
I have argued that it is recommendable for children to participate in the official education from their early formative stage. In particular, it was stressed that that will be gainful in terms of the learning ability and building communication skills. Although it is an exaggeration to claim that early education alone will enhance the children’s ability, it is certainly true that childhood is one of the most appropriate terms to learn the new thing.
