More Money Should Spend On Basic Needs
Different people will give different answers to this question from their own characters, emotional concerns and even educational backgrounds. However, when it comes to me, I firmly belief that the government should spend as considerably money as possible on fit basic needs. I list several reasons as follows to better illustrate my points of this view.
First of all, there still are quite large number people who are so poor that their children can’t get a basic education. As you know, education serves as a catalyst for our future success, and you will probably have a better live if you get a better education. Take two of my friends for example, Ming and Hong are both my classmates when I was a student of primary school. Their family were too poor to support them for further study in high school. But Ming’s father recognized the importance of education and consisted that Ming should go to a high school to get a better education. To achieve this aim, he borrowed some money from other people to pay the tuition. The result of this wise decision is that Ming got a high-paying job in a big city and has a happier life of quality. As contrast, Hong still lives in the small town and struggles for living. That’s why I think government should spend more money on providing a better education for its citizens.
In addition, it is obvious that the environment problem today is extremely severe. The government should take the responsibility of protecting our living environment as soon as possible. So more money is needed to spend on solving this essential problem. According to a recent investigation about the result of air pollution, in China, there are approximately 3000 people died directly due to the air pollution each year and the total amount of people who have a disease related to respiratory system have dramatically increase in the recently. If the government don’t pay much attention and don’t spare no effort on fighting with the environment pollution, this will become a disaster in the future.
Admittedly, computer technology plays an essential important role in the development of a country nowadays. But, I don’t think the idea that the best way to develop the computer technology is that buying it from other countries. In fact, a better education will serves as a catalyst for the development of computer technology. Thus, I still firming believe that more money should spend on more basic needs.
All in all, due to the obvious mentioned reasons, we may safely come to the conclusion that government should spend more money on basic needs.
