These days, there is a growing awareness of the way of complaining. Different people have different ways for complaining. However, while some people prefer to use writing such as letters and mailing to do it, I prefer to tell them in person. I have some reasons why I think so.

First, writing takes so much time to arrive at the company. Complain is necessary for the speed because they have to show the fact right now to inform the defect of the goods or the uncomfortable services in order to make them manage as soon as possible. However, in the case of writing, it takes more than 2 days to let them know. For example, when I was a high school student, I bought a magazine on the website. After arriving at my house, I found one of the pages is lacking. Then, I wrote a letter to them, however, it takes too much time to communicate, therefore I could not show the condition of the arrival. As a result, I was not able to get refund. On the contrary, in the case of meeting in person, it does not take so much time to communicate with the representatives and there are high possibilities to manage it soon.
Second, telling in person has few possibilities to cause misunderstanding. It is important to
show the situation of complaining such as the defect of the products and the point of the lack of service. Therefore, showing clearly and using gestures and voices is crucial when they tell them complaint. However, in terms of the writing, there are some possibilities to cause mistake of recognizing. That is because reading cannot show the photos of the situation and use only words. For these reasons, only words have difficulties to convey the information correctly.

In conclusion, telling complain in person is more effective way than in writing because writing spends a lot of times to send messages and they can show the facts without misunderstanding in person.
